Down below, the city was jammed. Traffic completely fucked. I-80 rollover—sedan upside down at the Des Plaines Bridge. I-57 vehicle fire blocking lanes. Dan Ryan stalled. DuSable Lake Shore Drive backed up.
None of it dramatic. All of it routine.
CTA stacked on top of it. Overdoses on the Blue and Red Lines. Woman down on the Orange Line. Stabbing at Addison. Guy falling onto the Red Line tracks at Grand. Person-with-a-gun calls nonstop across the South and West Sides.
Cardboard shelters back on Ida B. Wells by nightfall. Drugs wide open on the trains. A felony car tracked but not stopped until it got stuck in the mud. Enforcement lagged again.
Officials say crime is down?
Bullshit.
We’re watching it happen in real time.
We talked about the Pretti shooting. Shot in the back. Agents placed on leave. Then a new video circulates—some taillight kick and scuffle from two weeks earlier. The right wing jumps in immediately: that’s why.
Excuses stacked on excuses.
You can’t shoot a man in the back.
Let the investigation play out. That’s fair. But we’ve seen this movie before. George Floyd—fentanyl. Laquan McDonald—sixteen shots. Same strategy every time: confuse, delay, desensitize. Control the narrative until people stop reacting.
Brandon Johnson posturing anti-federal like some modern Confederacy—can’t tell us what to do. On the other side, Trump-world justifying people getting shot in the back with old clips and online rage.
Different flags, same hunger for power. Both ends squeezing regular people in the middle.
Meanwhile, Facebook posts record profits. AI companies rake in billions. Utility bills climb. Groceries climb. Rent climbs. A family dinner and a show now costs $500 when it used to be $200. You can’t even do normal shit anymore.
That’s the trap.
And it keeps coming back to the same thing: divide people, separate them, keep them arguing—so they never unite.
One last thing. This is the part that matters.
Americanism.
Teach Americanism. Fix society. Good families. Good schools. Good jobs. Good dinners. Good picnics. A life that actually works.
Not religion wars.
Not extremist politics.
Not Panthers.
Not the KKK.
Those things exist in America—fine. Freedom of speech. Freedom of religion. Freedom of assembly. That’s the deal.
But teach Americanism first.
Ninety to ninety-five percent of TV is garbage pushed by foreigners. British accents explaining America to Americans. Media empires shaping narratives from overseas. CNN, Fox—if it’s manipulation, get it out.
Mario Nawfal broadcasting from Dubai—ban him from American Twitter. Foreign agent.
Fix the country for Americans.
Want communism? Cuba.
Iran or Gaza? Go there.
Want the “old days”? South America. Africa.
America for Americans.
No labels.
No white, black, Mexican, Chinese.
Labels are the enemy.
