SubX.News® Crime Report

Report Summary on Continuing Death Threats
The death threats against our news continue — all tied directly to our ongoing reporting on the fake-homeless drug encampments operating inside Chicago’s abandoned industrial properties.
After publishing factual documentation from the Blommer Chocolate factory site, individuals connected to the drug activity began sending messages that reference:
Retaliation for exposing drug operations
Warnings that “bounties” were placed
Threats of violence for returning to the location
Claims that our reporting disrupted illegal income streams
Statements implying we would be targeted if we continue coverage
The messages make it clear these threats are not random — they cite our work, our videos, and specifically blame SubX.News for “running the motion off,” meaning disrupting the narcotics trade disguised as homelessness.
This type of intimidation is meant to silence reporting on a criminal enterprise exploiting homeless individuals and occupying city-ignored properties.
Instead of addressing the drug tents, officials allowed the encampment to grow, creating the conditions where traffickers feel empowered to threaten journalists.
We will continue documenting this pattern of harassment, including:
Direct threats of murder related to our coverage
Retaliation claims referencing the vehicle collision that occurred an hour after the confrontation
Statements suggesting organized involvement and coordinated movement to avoid exposure
Attempts to paint our reporting as “clout chasing” to justify violence
We will not engage with offenders directly.
All threats will be archived, preserved, and forwarded as necessary.
