Chicago 7:38:37 PM July 26, 2024 @CitizenApp … Update as of 10:02:37 PM … the boat with approximately 20 people aboard capsized after hitting a wall at approximately 7:33 pm near 31st Street Harbor on Lake Michigan near Prairie Shores. The Coast Guard responded to the maritime accident and helped save the people involved in the accident, however, a man of unknown age who was on the boat was unaccounted for as of 9:15 p.m. The police Marine Unit was searching for the missing man. https://citizen.com/-O2lc06I2d6q3wTl2AiP
Employee Missing from Capsized Boat at 31st Street … the guests that were on the boat have all been accounted for … it was a total of 14 people on the boat, 13 accounted for, one is unaccounted for … it appears one of the employees of the boat may be still in the water … and that’s who we’re going to go search for now … a ~35 y/o male Black, goatee, missing 3 fingers on his left hand
