Why aren’t the elected officials taking care of this … About 8:20 p.m. June 28th 2024 … 16th and Loomis … Let’s make this perfectly clear I don’t blame this person for blocking my access on this sidewalk … it’s not their job to enforce the law, the rules and keep the sidewalks cleared … that’s the job of the people we elect to office and the people they hire in government … we are taxed without our consent to pay for those services yet those services aren’t being provided either to me as the citizen to have a clear walkway or to that person that might need a place to stay … And the worst part of it is those same politicians create a conflict between me and this person … when me and this person are in the same situation … yet that’s the most insidious truth of our current politics of polarization, picking sides and labeling people … that US citizens are pitted against each other while people laugh collecting money every single day for not doing their job … HiHo
