The union forced Jesse Sharkey to step down after he was nominated to be President of the Union after the opposition group had its nominations, and it was clear he would lose to Mary Esposito-Usterbowski a Citywide School Psychologist who was running to be President of the Union.
… so the union switched candidates from Jesse Sharkey a White man, to Stacy Davis Gates, a Black woman, so she could use the resources of incumbency and racial polarization rather than the democratic nomination process.

because Stacy Gates was not electable on her own record that is why they forced Sharkey to step down in the middle of the election process, after the other group locked in their nominee Usterbowski, a White woman.

The fact is Gates has never been elected at any time during her teaching career to any local representative union position in her school or area.
The Union spent thousands on polling, one such bill for $80,000 shows the union was never about democracy it was about manipulating the membership to stay in power … why do you need polling for a membership organization … and no local media wrote or investigated this violation of union democracy …

It was not the first time the communists in CTU violated election rules back in 2018 they did the same thing to place Stacy Davis Gates in as Vice President of the teachers union after Karen Lewis stepped down.

Back then the process was stopped and had to be done when formal complaints and a petition was signed by members to stop the illicit elevation of Stacy Davis Gates to the position of Vice President of the Chicago Teachers Union … there was a reversal of Gates’ nomination due to violations of the rules of elections. And the proper procedures needed to be followed.
Then 4 years later the Union did the same trickery to elevate Stacy Gates to President of the Chicago Teachers Union … and now we see the same trickery in our national elections …
Has anyone checked the Democrats’ nominating process and if it was violated … probably so … HiHo
